Hear from the founder, Wini
Someone once told me, if you want to know where your power or purpose is, just look at the areas of life you struggle with most. When I looked at my life, I could clearly see that the relationship I had with myself and others felt disconnected, like they were constantly "under attack" or in a state of dysfunction or dis-ease. After tons of introspection, reading, working with some amazing coaches, and having a lot of tough conversations, I realized most of my own internal and external relationship and communication problems were rooted in an inability to feel safe as the authentic version of me. I had been living life behind a mask of perfection and on eggshells, always afraid of what someone may say or do to me if I were to show up as true Wini. The fear of being wrongly judged or mistreated for being "too different" or "too much" and "not enough" ran deep. It was in my own transformation that I discovered many of our problems, those things that keep us from living life to the fullest, aren't as big as we think they are. Although there are a lot of lies, barriers, and outdated beliefs systems at play - we certainly have the power to breakthrough and shine our light in a way that attracts people into our life who genuinely see us and will stand by us as we grow and shift into a more aligned version of ourselves. My work in this life is to guide as many people possible to internal and external alignment. I am of the firm belief that when we accept who we truly are and own our unique beliefs, values, and desires we are better able to build authentic bonds and deeper connection with others. Let's take the masks off and elevate together.

The Elevated Community team is a multicultural group of active listeners who are committed to improving the social-emotional health and holistic wellbeing of the families and individuals we serve. Our team members are experienced in creating lasting transformation using conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiations skills. They bring a uniquely balanced perspective to relationships and communications that has the power to bridge gaps between individuals and groups who may be in conflict with themselves or others. We know how to get to the root cause of problems and offer sound solutions that lead to drastically better outcomes in the interpersonal and intrapersonal lives of our clients.
More about Wini
She is a Sociologist by nature, always curious about the inner workings of our global societies and has a background in Criminal Justice, Business Administration and Diversity Equity & Inclusion efforts and initiatives. Wini has a heart for service and is passionate about leaving a healing mark on the world. She sits on the board of a local non-profit that serves folks experiencing homelessness and those in transitional housing communities. She has dedicated her pastime to starting organizations around mentorship for women of color in higher education, sexual and domestic abuse support for victims and offenders, and was part of a strategic planning committee for the Travis County Adolescent Sexual Health Collaborative.
She has been recognized for her stellar ability to improve race relations, her research on gentrification in Austin's 78702 zip code alongside Huston-Tillotson University and the University of Texas at Austin Drs. Amanda Massino & Erik Tang. Wini is a lifetime member of Pi Gamma Mu International Honors Society and holds membership in The Association for Applied and Clinical Sociology (AACS).
Wini takes pride in being able to say her life work has touched the lives of many students, families, and individuals across 11 countries including the United States of America.
